Stopped here on our last day of vacation in hopes of seeing a turtle and we were in luck! The beach was very crowded but everyone was respectful of the turtle and stayed behind the rope they had placed around it to signal 10ft.

Absolutely marvelous. Went there around 10.30 am and found parking. Crossed over and found a shady spot to wait. Sure enough we had our first sighting around 11.15 of turtle heads bobbing in and out of the water just of the beach. Finally at 12.00 two turtles came up to the shallow water on the sand and we had a fantastic sight. It was amazing. No turtles came up to the beach to sun, but seeing them in the water was amazing. Got some great videos and pictures. Plan ongoing there and just waiting for them to come.…

There was indeed a couple turtles hanging out. It is almost like the turtles take turns hanging out under the sign that states you must stay 10 feet away. They are so large and it is great to see them in the 'wild'.

No Turtles- and that is the only reason to go to this beach. Evidently you can see turtles here on a nice day. Not us.
