Spot was recommended by a friend to do some snorkeling. It did not disappoint, four turtles within 15 minutes! Great little cove, even with calm day still a little surge back and forth but not scary. Little bit of a pain to scramble down to the water but worth it. Wear some good shoes, rocks are sharp. Small parking area, but you can also park along the road for a bit. Showers and restrooms available also. If you are near the North Shore you better check it out! …

Great place for kids to see turtles, eel, octopus and fish. Whales appear off in the distance. Arrive early. More people that arrive the more murky the water gets. Love going here. You see everything except sharks.

Been to Asia multiple times, still feel like this is the best snorkeling I’ve been to!!!! Why? It’s free. No boat. No annoying tourist trap. These reefs are natural. Gorgeous fish. Schools. Big ones. Small ones, colorful ones. Look up and it’s only been 15 min and you saw 29 fish! Seriously. There is nobody feeding the fish like they do on boat tours from Honolulu. Free parking. Nice facilities. Overall great time. I went back twice on my north shore stay. The beach is great. Nice play for tanning and a picnic. I do recommend wearing water shoes, and bringing your own snorkel gear. Bring food or lunch because the food trucks were not nearby when I was there one of the times. Maybe different hours due to not many tourists being here because of covid- not sure. But it was incredible day spent here!!!!!! Great fish my faves were yellow angel fish. But loved them all. That’s life! Seeing under the eater. Enjoy !!!!!…

This was a nice stop with a large tide pool. There is some parking available and rest rooms and showers. The beach area was very crowded so we did not stay too long.

We decided to try sharks Cove after seeing the Rough Waters at another Beach. This is a great place to snorkel because it is a protected Cove. There were many multicolored fish to sing and the water is not very deep. Also nice healthy coral and interesting rock formations where the fish all hide. You don't need Flippers but water shoes are recommended.…
