Excited to officially welcome some fall content on Sunshine Style! Recently I ordered these white mid-rise skinny jeans from Everlane and couldn’t wait to review them on here for you! Florida has not quite got the memo yet. Weather it’s starting to cool down by you or it’s still super warm like us Floridian’s are experiencing, I styled them with some of my favorite summer items but made it fall. What better to welcome fall than with a casual striped outfit!

Let’s chat jeans! Dresses are my jam. I will do anything in my power to not wear jeans or pants. Pretty much the exact reason I live where I live! There are so many jean lovers out there and I am just not one of them. That means when I do end up buying a pair, I am extremely picky. These Everlave Mid-Rise jeans had great reviews and I had always loved how they looked on Julia. All of Everlane’s clothes are sustainable and I really love the mission behind their brand. Everything I’ve bought from them in the past has always been super high quality.
Turns out, I love these pants! A true high waist actually makes my stomach hurt and I can’t breathe when I sit down. Am I the only one with this issue?! I prefer the mid-rise on these pants much more! The mid-rise hits just below my belly button and they have the perfect amount of stretch. I ordered a 28 because #therona and got them in the regular length. Pants that hit at the ankle or below are my fav because you can wear them with socks and boots without having to smooth out the hem. They have a 5 star review from me for sure!

How was your weekend? My plans to stay in Vero for a girls weekend got re-scheduled because there was bad storms out in the Atlantic. I was pretty bummed but I’d rather stay on the beach when it’s sunny and fully enjoy the trip! Instead I was able to sew a bunch of scrunchies for my ETSY shop and even worked on a fun new product coming next week.
Today I went shopping with my mom and dad at the Vero outlets because I had a dress from J.Crew Factory to exchange. It was a super rainy weekend and we really wanted an excuse to get out of the house. All the stores had the cutest fall styles out and it was really getting me in the mood for fall! The humidity and rain quickly brought me back down to our hot reality. I am reallyyyy hoping we have a cold winter this year and that it arrives early! Sweater weather, here we come! I hope you had a great weekend even if your plans got derailed like mine did!
Lots of Sunshine,
Katie
