Shine Bright in these Sequin New Years Eve Dresses

I remember as a little girl, I always dreamed of an older version of myself ringing in the New Year with a sparkly New Years Eve dress. Now that dream is finally true!!

Have you seen the new Life Size 2 movie starring, Tyra Banks? I absolutely loved her first Life Size movie! She sings the “Shine Bright, Shine Far, Be A Star” song again and that’s exactly what I’m reminded of when I wear this dress! When you put on a sparkly dress it’s impossible not to shine bright.

Every year I have the best intentions to dress up for NYE, yet I somehow never do! Most of the time Christmas is so hyped up that by the time it’s NYE, I completely forget to make plans and end up doing totally nothing. Really though, I don’t even remember what I did the last few years. Anyone else?

This year I may have to change that now that all my sparkly dress dreams have come true! So, hopefully you have fun New Years plans that involve putting on a pretty sparkly dress and shining all night and into 2019!

To me the dress steals the show. Layer with a light leather jacket or coat and dress it up with nude block heels or sparkly heels. If you follow me on Instagram, I polled everyone asking if I should style this NYE dress with my nude heels or pink sparkly Kate Spade x Keds shoes (on sale for under $60 and that’s the lowest I have ever seen them) and the heels won! If I actually make NYE plans, I will most likely go with my Keds!

I’ll let you in on a little secret, I am a huge sale shopper. I bought this dress from Gap last year way after NYE had passed on mega sale. I’m talking like $30! So, if you know that you want to save money, wait until the end of January to buy your sparkly dress.

Sequin dresses are usually on the more pricey side but then retailers want to get them off the shelves as soon at NYE is over with, so they go on super sale!!! Then store it away until next year and pull it out to make all your dreams come true! It’s exactly what I did! Sequin dresses are great because they really never go out of style and can be worn year after year.
