I’m excited to have the opportunity to share a little about one of Jupiter’s busiest artists! You can find her local art all over Jupiter Florida and beyond. Her designs are super colorful and coastal themed. She makes amazing maps of Jupiter and the surrounding towns too! Alright, alright, enough with the chit chat … Meet Jupiter Local Melissa Rinaldi of Co Coastal and make sure you enter the Giveaway at the bottom of the post!
Tell us a little about yourself
Melissa Rinaldi, originally from Kentucky, grew up in the arts and crafts capital of that state, Berea. I was home schooled until high school and I believe that schooling helped foster my creativity. I have been an artist most of my life in some form. I moved to Florida for College in 2000, and have lived in Florida ever since then (except for a brief year in PA). I have been in Jupiter 3 years and have been an artist professionally for about 2 years. I have three children (6,4 and 1) and one dog.
When did you start the Go Coastal brand and what are the products you offer?
Go Coastal Brand was started last year January 2016. I offer custom artwork, fine art prints and other home decor and clothing items, with designs made from my hand painted work on it.
Where do you get your inspiration for new designs?
Inspiration in Jupiter and Palm Beach County isn’t hard to find. I find much inspiration from nature, as the majority of my work is Coastal related. I also have active followers on social media in which I interact with and get ideas from.
What do you find most challenging about running your own business?
Finding time to do all the paper work, while still leaving time to create, is very challenging.
What is the most rewarding thing about running your company?
My flexible schedule is very rewarding with small children. Making the world brighter with my artwork is the best thing about what I do.
How do you juggle work & family?
Luckily, with artwork, I can do it at any hour and on and off throughout the day. I have time to commit to family events, care for my one year old and juggle pick up schedules for the preschooler and 1st grader.

I love the Jupiter map print!
Melissa is an amazing artist and I LOVE her work. We discovered her at the Jupiter Fall Fest last year and have purchased a few prints, mugs, and have commissioned two pet portraits. I love her Blue Octopus design and can’t wait to design a room around her awesome pieces!
Just started following Melissa a few months ago and love ALL her work! As a previous Jupiter resident I’dlove bringing her fun coastal prints into my home in PA. I always have a little piece of paradise on display!
I LOVE her painted pumpkins! I just recently stumbled upon Melissa’s Etsy shop and Instagram feed. I’m really crushing on untraditional fall colors, and she nailed it! 💞
