Dress | Flats (use code SARAHFLINT-BALIBBYM for $50 off!) I have felt like my reading speed has slowed down in the past couple of months. I am not sure why, but everything ebbs and flows in life, so we are going with it. I did want to share the few books I have finished, though! Picking out books can be very overwhelming when there are as many options out there. On the contrary, I think my slight reading rut is because there are so many options and I want to read them all but feel like there is not enough time for that, hah. So with that, here's my list, and I hope I can give you some book inspiration! What I Have Finished: - I know this is only 2 books! I think I also finished a Harry Potter book since I last chatted about reading. Would Like to Meet - This one was a gift from a friend, and isn't something I would normally pick up, but I LOVED it! Its a rom com about writing a rom com movie, and its so well done. I actually laughed out loud on multiple occasions while rea

Spring Bucket List

I realize it is kind of late into the Spring season, but I have my spring bucket list today! I have reasons for the timing: 1. Minnesota is a late bloomer when it comes to spring, which brings me to 2. It is hard to enjoy the fun outdoor spring things when it is still 45 degrees for most of March, April and May! Yes, we have had a few sporadic 70+ degree days that we have totally taken advantage of, but for the most part it is still pretty cool, and things did not start blooming until a week and a half ago. Therefore, we have the spring bucket list starting in mid-May! And summer doesn't start until June 20, so we have time! Hat | White Dress | Flats ( use link for 10% off! ) SPRING BUCKET LIST: 1. Outdoor Brunch! - I do not know what it is this season, but I have had going to brunch on the brain. Patios/outdoor dining have been open for a bit, and I am really hoping for a warm morning to go out for brunch. What is your favorite thing to order for brunch? I am a fan of really

Must Haves for Summer

Similar Dress It feels like I am jumping ahead and sharing summer things, but summer is my favorite season! I always feel like the warm weather months are super short, so I am trying to extend my favorite season by sharing summer content early. I guess it gives you time to round out your summer wardrobe before the season officially starts! Ironically enough, I will be sharing my spring bucket list soon, so look out for that one. - Striped Boatneck Tee // This is a casual classic that I reach for all summer long! I sometimes can dress it up with a nicer pair of linen pants or navy skirt and espadrilles! I also love this one , too! - White Jeans // Another warm weather classic. White jeans are just so easy to create a cute look, especially on chillier evenings. - Pearl Straw Bag // A straw bag of some sorts is so summer, and I have been lusting over this pearl embellished bag for a while! I love that its from a small women owned business based in NYC, too. - Bamboo Wicker Bag // Y

What I'm Loving no. 25

Its somehow May, and I missed my favorites post for March! Where is the time actually going? I have combine the past couple of months into one big favorites post! Dress + Roses FAVORITES FROM MARCH + APRIL Nap Dress - I finally got my hands on a blue botanical printed nap dress and it does not disappoint! This is my third nap dress if that tells you anything hah. This one may be sold out or have limited sizes left, but keep checking the site because they often add random stock to some items! Getting Vaccinated! - I now have both doses of vaccines in me! I am so so grateful for science, and to be a part of the scientific community- all my education and degrees are in biology/global health/biomedical science! Its crazy to think about how we all felt one year ago to today. Now that I have both doses, I do have an itch to travel, but do not feel 100% about flying. We'll see about that when we get closer to summer!  More time outside - I am so grateful that we were able to safely d

A Born on Fifth Dress

Nothing makes me happier than being able to wear a cute little sundress and not freeze. I was so happy to be in Florida a couple of week ago, and finally wear this dress ! It is the mini dress from the Born on Fifth x Antonio Melani collection for Dillards . I was instantly drawn to the stunning blue and white pattern! I will link more of this pieces from the collection below! This is not normally the length and silhouette I would go for, but something was drawing me to this dress the most. I ended up loving this silhouette more than I thought I would- the baby doll look is nice because it is nice and fitted up top, and then just flows down and feels very flattering. There's also the bow that makes this dress feel so fun and feminine.  I styled the dress with my go to spring/summer accessories: espadrilles and a wicker bag. I was nervous to wear espadrilles with it because of the shorter length, but it ended up looking fine and not visually shortening the dress (these can be #ta

A Needlepoint Wishlist

It has been awhile since I chatted about anything needlepoint related. I am still love to stitch, but have not been doing it as much, lately, because I am about done with the two canvases I have and am in need of some more. It can be hard to select your next canvas because the needlepoint world is pretty big, and there are so many cute little shops and designers with adorable projects! This list could have been SO long, but I really tried to narrow it ahha. I find a lot of canvas inspiration from my needlepoint Instagram, @libbylovesstitching, as I follow several small shop accounts and always see them in my feed!
