Somewhere between the sweater goals and gallery wall dreams it hits you: this website’s basically a search engine, sitting pretty and ready-made to push traffic to your online content.
Content like yours.
But even though Pinterest feels like a platform you should be using, you're not sure how to make it work for you.
If that strikes a nerve, stay with me.
When you get going about the products or services you offer, your eyes glaze over with passion: you LOVE talking about what you do.
If so, we're kindred spirits. :)
I was proud of my work, wanted to post it, share it, and tell the whole back story to it all on my website, social media sites and blog.
But for years, I'd felt like I was checking all the "you're supposed to do this" boxes... but I felt like I was scratching the surface on traffic. Where were my people? And shouldn't I be able to automate this, so these posts come up over and over again?
But the reputation of a tool like Pinterest is for stylish capsule wardrobe shopping guides, killer meal plans for the week, and that secret board you have of your [wedding/baby/gift giving prowess/insert your thing here].
And I'm here to tell you it can be more than that.
Way more.
Perhaps you don't *really* need another social media platform. Perhaps you're the same as me. You get fired up creating content, services, and offerings that help your audience. Perhaps you've done the SEO hacks to your website, but you're still not seeing it translate into profitability. Perhaps you veg out on Pinterest for some good ol' fashioned escapism, but aren't quite sure how it works for your business.
You know your dream clients are probably on there—isn't everyone?
You know she's searching and scrolling past products and services to buy.
But you're completely lost on how to actually capture their attention and get your work in front of them.
Yeah, I thought so.
Let’s put some strategy behind those pretty boards and pins.
I’m handing over the step-by-step system I used to get there... to you.
You didn't start your business to become a 24/7 marketer ... but now that you're here and see it's part of the game, let's kick off with understanding WHO your ideal client is and WHAT that means for your Pinterest strategy. It's all about pairing the right people with the right pins.
I also walk you through comprehensive keyword research and then show you how to infuse those words into your profile. You'll see what boards to create and how the JK 5 ties into building a magazine-style board strategy that lures in your dream clients. Plus, we'll master what to actually NAME your boards so they show up in search.
Module 01
This module is all about the anatomy of the perfect pin and that starts with creating a content plan. I’ll show you how to batch your work, know exactly what your audience is looking for from you and create content that is ready to go viral on Pinterest.
Next you’ll learn how to turn that content into the perfect pin from the graphics to the title, description, keywords and hashtags to get your pins into the smart feed. Finally, I walk you through how to create 10-15 pins per piece of content so that we’re consistently bringing fresh pins into Pinterest: the key to success.
MODULE 02
Want traffic just DRIPPING onto your website at a steady pace? Want to have a nearly set-it-and-forget-it traffic strategy? Want to wake up to cool "found ya on Pinterest" notes from your potential clients? Yeah, me too. I’ll help you create a plan to convert your new traffic into paying clients. I’ll show how you can integrate Pinterest with other platforms to blend your marketing efforts (so you’re creating smarter not harder).
Next, we’ll put systems in place to streamline your success now and into the future. I'd rather express-track your time spent in Pinterest every week, so I'll be showing you a walkthrough of how you can automate your Pinterest marketing.
MODULE 03
It doesn't matter if you're product-based, service-based, online-based, or a mix of all of the above: bring all that creativity together into a Pinterest strategy, and let the METRICS tell you what to do more of.
That's what this module's about. I show you the three places I tune into each month, the exact numbers I track and see what's working—and what's not—through my step-by-step process to refine your strategy going forward.
MODULE 04
Since joining The Pinterest Lab (starting at ZERO) I have gained 64k monthly views on my pins and 2,000 new followers! I now feel totally comfortable with the process of scheduling pins and I LOVE using Pinterest for my business. I feel like a pinning badass.
Since joining The Pinterest Lab I have increased my traffic tenfold and grown my email list from 30 people to over 500! My writings are finally being seen by more than just my mom, which has boosted my confidence and given me so much inspiration for more things I want to create.
OMG! I've grown my Pinterest traffic by leaps and bounds. And, when I started tracking it against other social tools like Facebook and Instagram (bless their hearts) they just didn't compare. Pinterest is, hands down, the biggest traffic and lead source for my business. I've since paired this with email list building and now I'm growing my list like a champ, too.
Before I joined, I felt overwhelmed with social media, I couldn't keep going in the same direction with social media. Felt more intentional with my social media usage, freed up hours and hours that I used to spend clicking and hoping it would drive traffic, I increased my traffic + sales significantly and even made a very first sale on a brand new website just days after implementing.
Before I joined I felt unsure on how a local service based business could use Pinterest to target clients. I was shocked at how easy it was to learn and implement. I’ve gained confidence in using Pinterest for my business, increased traffic to my website, and found a source of marketing that none of my competitors are really using.
I was afraid that I just wouldn't be successful. Since joining The Pinterest Lab with Jenna Kutcher, I’ve increased by monthly Pinterest views from just 300 to over 30,000! Now? 56 % of my referrals to my website come directly from Pinterest.
Before joining The Pinterest Lab I felt lost about how to utilize Pinterest for my business. Now? The Pinterest Lab gave me a total confidence boost in how to manage my Pinterest! I have noticed that I am getting lots more interaction on my page and my board "my work" has the most clicks so I am stoked people are finding my site through Pinterest!
Those burning questions?
Whether you've been at the online marketing thing for a hot second (like, literally a hot second) or you've been building a brand for years, The Pinterest Lab will coach you to the website traction to something that's bigger and better than what you could gain by hustling to post every day …
This is based on the traffic and traction techniques I've learned from growing organically—and growing virally.
I have the data on both, and I can tell you what it takes to leverage a pin into a paying client, customer, or partnership. Because "exposure" doesn't pay the bills—amen?
